Build Specifications and Design
As we’ve mentioned, SMOK RPM40 pod vape looks posh. It’s only 10 cm tall, but it looks and feels solid. Also, the choice of colors will make you happy. Besides the standard black version, the thing comes in chrome, purple, gold, rainbow, white, orange, and green.

SMOK RPM40 Pod
There are two pods compatible with the system. They are easily removable. To take one away, you have to pull it off the device and press it back.

RPM 40 Functions
The information about all the current setting (wattage, battery life, etc.) and the menu is presented on the 0.96-inch screen. The screen nicely positioned and easy to read, thanks to the bright and sharp text.
The icons display the level of the battery, wattage, puff count, resistance, and voltage. The two operational buttons below the screen will help to adjust the wattage. The display is multi-colored. You can change the color option by pressing the Fire and the Plus buttons simultaneously.
Smok RPM40 Performance
RPM 40 is perfect for chain vaping. Even if you use it at the Max wattage setting the chances, you get a dry hit are close to zero. You get the super flavor as well. The coils are durable and wick fast and relentlessly.
The PRM pod gives the best of two worlds – dense flavor, the thick vapor. Although to get the two, you should set the wattage level to 35W instead of 25W recommended.
The Nord Pod works great at 25W, also 5W higher than recommended. The flavor is excellent. The vapor is also quite decent for this type of coil.
The airflow has no extra sounds and is quite powerful (the SMOK RPM40 vape features two airflow slots), yet it is slightly restricted. It would be great if the SMOK RPM40 had some airflow adjustment functionality.
RPM40 Battery Life
Although the battery isn’t massive (it’s like a normal 18650 cell), it’s quite powerful, featuring 1500 mAh. When using the 0.4 coils, the battery will not last a whole day, although it has only 2h charging time and pass-through charging functionality.
