Build and design
The new toy comes in red, blue, brushed, and high-gloss stainless steel color options. In shape, aesthetics and the position of the fire button, it resembles the Predator mod.
Wismec has used high-quality paint, so the metallic versions look as if they are anodized. The paint is also extremely durable, with no scratches or peeling through the time.
The handy update is the color screen. It is huge and very informative, for example, it has a clock, puff counter, puff timer, voltage and amperage besides a ton of other useful outputs. A button over the firing bar serves to set the mod on and off.
The build quality allows using the mod with different atomizers with no hustle, as its 510 pin perfectly fits many atomizer trademarks.
Unlike older Predator versions, the Ravage 230 has centered the 510 pin which gives a chance to use an atomizer, which is up to 28mm wide.
The battery door sits well; it is easy to open and close with no issues, which is excellent for heavy vapers.
How to Start?
To start the mod, you need five clicks on the button which is above the fire bar. You may use the button not only to switch the vape mod on and off.
It works well to cycle through the modes, and three clicks are enough to start the menu. To lock in your choice, use the up and down buttons.
The modes menu gives access to power, temperature control, clock, wattage, resistance, screen timeout, puff counter, screen timeout, firmware and hardware versions, pre-heat.

Temperature Control
The Ravage230 is a superior temperature control mod at an affordable price. It works well with different coil builds. The temperature control mode has no power limits except the one of the mod’s itself.
In any setting, it gives the warm vape, although the best range is 450-470 F. There is excellent dry-hit protection, so a vaper has a lot of flexibility. Most users report they prefer it between 400 – 480 F range.
Voltage
The performance of Ravage 230 is above average for the other dual battery vapes. The specifications state that the device doesn’t go above 50 amps, 230 watts and 9 volts max output. At 0.49-ohm resistance, it gives the 165 watts, and this is a high mark for this resistance.
Also, the vape mod is accurate in wattage settings. Starting from 100 watts and above, you may expect from 6 to 13 watts higher than the setting you’ve chosen. Under 100 watts the differences are tiny (from 1 to 6 watts).
The protection doesn’t let the mod get hot at high wattages, just slightly warm, which is great for secure sessions.
